WE ARE INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED

WE WERE BORN IN 2007
In 2007, a small group of passionate agile coaches came together under one brand with a common goal: to spread the nascent concept of agility in companies around the world.
OUR EARLY SUCCESS STORIES
Our first agile transformation was at the Belgian post office (bPost)in 2008, where we carried out the first Belgian implementation of what would later become known as the LeSS scaling approach.
In 2010 we led the first agile pilot project at Proximus (formerly Belgacom), implementing a scaled agile approach similar to what would later become known as SAFe. Following this success we went on to lead the agile transformation at the telco.
Agilar's biggest agile transformation to date has been at BNP Paribas Fortis - where we were involved from day 1 in the leadership of what is probably the largest Agile transformation to date in Belgium, involving more than 3000 people and 100 agile coaches at its peak.
OUR LEADERSHIP
Xavier Quesada Allué founded Agilar in 2007 and became the first Spanish-speaking Certified Scrum Coach of the Scrum Alliance two years later. After another two years he obtained the Certified Scrum Trainer® (CST®) designation and started offering certified courses regularly in Europe.
Tiago Garcez and Joke Vandemaele joined Agilar in 2008, consolidating our thought leadership and becoming Agilar's second and third Certified Scrum Trainers®.
AGILAR TODAY
Today we are consolidated leaders in the agile consulting market in Belgium, Spain and Argentina, with extended reach throughout all of Europe and Latin America. Our senior agile coaches work across different industries and sectors and we continue to be thought leaders in frontier areas such as Scaling and Business Agility.
OUR GROWTH
The first Agilar office was opened in 2008 in Ghent. Although we had already been operating in Spain for 7 years, Agilar Spain S.L. was born in 2016, with offices in Barcelona and Madrid. In 2018 we opened Agilar offices in Brussels and Buenos Aires.
