We are internationally recognized
We have 3 Certified Scrum Trainers® (CST®), the most rigorous and highest level certification of the Scrum Alliance® and the only one that allows to certify in Scrum (CSM® and CSPO®).
Some of our consultants hold the Accredited Kanban Trainer (AKT) badge, a prestigious certification for professionals with deep expertise in Kanban.
A couple of our trainers hold the Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC) badge, meaning they are experts in practices and principles of Scrum and agile organizational transformations.
Most of our consultants are Professional Certified Coaches (PCC), equipped with advanced coaching skills to drive high performance.

We were born in 2007
In 2007, a small group of passionate agile coaches came together under one brand with a common goal: to spread the nascent concept of agility in companies around the world.
Our early success stories
Our first agile transformation was at the Belgian post office (bPost) in 2008, where we carried out the first Belgian implementation of what would later become known as the LeSS scaling approach.
In 2010 we led the first agile pilot project at Proximus (formerly Belgacom), implementing a scaled agile approach similar to what would later become known as SAFe. Following this success we went on to lead the agile transformation at the telco.
Thought leadership
Xavier Quesada Allué founded Agilar in 2007 and became the first Spanish-speaking Certified Scrum Coach of the Scrum Alliance two years later. After another two years he obtained the Certified Scrum Trainer® (CST®) designation and started offering certified courses regularly in Europe.
Tiago Garcez and Joke Vandemaele joined Agilar in 2008, consolidating our thought leadership and becoming Agilar’s second and third Certified Scrum Trainers®.
Agilar today
Today we are consolidated leaders in the agile consulting market in Belgium and Spain, with extended reach throughout all of Europe and Latin America. Our senior agile coaches work across different industries and sectors and we continue to be thought leaders in frontier areas such as Scaling and Business Agility.
Training Venues
Our training facilities are specifically designed to host our renowned and highly interactive training and workshop sessions. We are big fans of the TBOR training methodology and facilitating energizing learning games and these types of activities typically involve lots of movement and creativity, requiring dynamic seating allocation, open spaces and plenty of available walls to work on. All our training facilities are equipped with plenty of flipcharts, post-its, Neuland markers and Time Timers for a professionally facilitated event. And of course snacks and refreshments.
Belgian Atelier
Our Belgian Atelier, located in the beautiful historic city of Ghent, provides a flexible training space that can host groups of up to 16 people in a cozy workshop environment. It is conveniently located a five minute walk from the Gent-St-Pieters train station with direct trains to Brussels Airport. Covered wall to wall in natural wood, the upper windows flood the space with daylight while simultaneously leaving the walls completely accessible for interactive exercises. In this way the space creates an energizing environment for participants while being fully fit for purpose.
